Bad Hair Day

In today's blog I will talk about how one day I had a bad hair day, this was recently. I was going to school, I decided to take a banana on the way. (Every time I go to school I always sit in the front seat and my sister in back of me). I always have trouble peeling one, if I can peel one that would be a miracle. So, I told me sister to peel it for me. I was fixing my shoe at the moment and I didn't hear here saying hat she had already peeled it for me. I lean back and her hand was right behind me, with the banana. Are you serious! I'm on my way to school and she does this to me, although it wasn't her fault. Yes, I got banana on my hair and my sweater. There was no turning back, it was to late. the first thing I think of it getting the banana off my hair. It took of but my hair started feeling sticky. At that single moment I didn't want to go to school, but it was too late for that. I showed up at school late, with banana in my hair, it wasn't my best day. I tried hiding my hair by putting it to the side. That would make it worse because it would bother me and I would just put it back. It was lunch and I notice that my hair is very dry and rusty. The only person that noticed was my best friend, and all my table partners. The first thing I did when I got home was to shower, it took really long to take it off.
My mother still couldn't believe I was like that at school the entire day. But I guess it was a benefit because my hair is now softer. Life right? Who gets it?

Mother's Day

In today's blog I will talk about my day on Sunday (Mother's Day). I would've done this blog yesterday but unfortunately  I was busy. So to all the mothers out there HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY! So I woke up and my plan was to wake up my mom and just enter her room with a big, Happy Mother's Day! But, she just had to wake up way earlier than me. (That's strange because I usually wake up at least 5 minutes earlier than her.) So that plan didn't work out. I was going to tell her Happy Mother's Day and then give her my gift but, then I found out that she was fixing the garage. we began to eat breakfast and right when I finish they just had to send me and my sister out to buy them cookies (at Trader Joes which was really close to my home but I was still sleepy). But that was a good thing that I went because At Trader Joes they were selling flowers for Mother's Day, it's a good thing that I brought extra money! So I bought flowers for both my mom and grandma. Then there I found out that my sister forgot to buy something for my grandma so we went to Bath & Body Works top buy her a perfume. Mission accomplished and we arrive back home luckily they weren't there so we ran to my room to hide the flowers. We forgot a little detail, my grandma had to work, and when we came she was already getting ready. We gave her the gift before she, although she didn't open it because she was in a rush.
Later on my uncle comes by. And my sister and I decide its time to give the gifts. My little brother gives my mom the flowers, my sister the drawings she made for her, and I the present. We sort of had bad timing because she was talking to my uncle in Mexico. After all she opened her gifts and gave us all a hug. I guess you're probably wondering what did I give her? I gave her a notepad, that I made with the help of my sister, perfume from Victoria's Secrete, the flowers, and Kit-Kat chocolate bites. This was my day yesterday, and I hope all of you had a great Mother's Day!

Is It Really A Change?

In today's blog I will talk about how as I mentioned in one of my blogs that I am making a "change" in my "diet." So since we have been sort of "busy" in our schedules we aren't really going for runs, or actually eat healthy. Although we still have our "homemade" smoothie (which is with banana, strawberry, and some kind of seeds, healthy ones I don't know what their called so don't ask). We also started to take one pill of probiotics each day to help us "clean" our stomachs, which is my job to make sure that we take one a day. (If I forget no one else remembers, I even had to pay my own sister to pass it around). And we did the 5k run, which sort of left my moms foot swollen, and my grandma's feet painful and sore. I told them to stretch after they ran but clearly they didn't listen, now they paid the consequences. But since we have many things to do now we just buy food, or just find what we have in our fridge. But the strange thing is that my parents are but clothes used for exercise but they only use it as usual clothes. I only I use mine whether I have no clothes to wear or we are actually running. But we still have our "mini" walks. I mean we're just a liitle off track but soon we'll be back on the rode. Right?

Not Such A Good Day

In today's blog I will talk about my uncle here that is being a bully. (No seriously, it's true.) So my da plays soccer every Sunday with his family and friends from work. (Although he doesn't play soccer, he used to but, he had an incident.) today we went and as usual my uncle hear always has to come up with some kind of "joke" to tell me. Today's joke was, "Watch out you have a fly on your leg! Oh wait it's just your mole." (I was born with a black mole on my left leg.) So I finally had the courage to tell my wonderful mother that he's being a bully. Sure he's just doing it because he my uncle but at times he takes over the line. She responded that I had to find my ways into making him mad to. So what I did here was that right when he repeated what he said I told him, " Mr. Chubby Cheeks." He started laughing at first but when we went to a restaurant he never told me that again. Well that's all for today. Bye!

5k Run!!

In today's blog I will talk about my first public run. To start off this was a run from LAUSD. I was preparing everything for today, the water, snacks, things needed for my brother. I feel asleep very late because we had to go but clothes for my mom, sister, and grandma to wear today. (I had to be at school by 7 to get the bust to go to the run). I was too tired so I told my sister to put the alarm and make sure the volume is up. But unfortunately she did none of the above, she literally just went on my social media. I woke up late ( I live 20 minutes from my school, I know why don't I switch to a closer one, ummm no thank you). I had led than an hour to get ready and I was like a zombie. I was in the car, and the clock switched to 7 o'clock, I said to myself, " I'm late they left me." Either way I still arrive. I see a bus, could it be! I go to the bus driver and ask if it's the right bus. I have so much luck, I went in and the only reason they were still waiting is because the had forgotten a worksheet. Everything went good I ran, and got a medal. (This was taken place at the Dogers Stadium). After that we rewarded ourselves by going to eat Olive Garden, yes we just ran but as I continue saying it's just once. (Plus it's also my mother's birthday!) I hope you have a great day!

Yes, This Is My Family

In today's blog I will talk about something the my uncle here, happened to do. It was a Saturday, just like no other day. My uncle comes from work, next thing I know he needs help. What exactly does he need help with? Trust me this is probably the silliest thing he has done. So, all of you guys know the the SMS card is to give service to your phone, right! So, my uncle here took out the SMS card and put in a memory card. I know right who in the entire world would think of this! (Of course there is always my uncle.)
He goes up the my mom, I'm right next to her, and he says, " Can you help me take out the memory card?"
My mother says, " Memory card??? There is a place to put your memory card??" She takes his phone and notices that he has no SMS card and has forced it to go in.
She sort of yells to him, "Why would you put a memory card, where you put the SMS card!"
He replies, "I can't do that?"
"No your SMS card is to give service to your phone, without it you have no service."
He says, "Really, are you serious!"
I myself attempted to take is out, I tried it many times. But sadly I failed. My mother, father, and sister have attempted, but failed as well. My mother told him to go to the AT&T store to see if they can get it out. He went, he came, and it was still there. The next day my mother and I had to go to a store that repares phones after school. I gave the guy the phone and he left to his "work place" but he wasn't so secretive. My mother and I were waiting, we could hear clearly that his "team" were laughing at us. Anyway, he got it out, even when the AT&T techs couldn't. My uncle came from home and as a thank you we got In-N-Out. Yes I know we are on a change, but come on it's just once right? Well that's is for today's blog, I hope you have a nice day! (And don't ever do this at home)

Are You Serious!

In today's blog I will be talking about another problem that occured with this crazy dog of mine. So it was a Wednesday, and I was laying on my bed with my brother right beside me watching elmo, yes I know but that is what I do. My mother and grandma were in the kitchen, my sister at her room. I hear my doorbell ring a lady is there  with her daughter asking if we have a dog with black spots. my dog comes limping and my mother notices that something wrong has happened. the lady says, " Yes, yes that's him, right daughter!" And I'm just there like what is happening! She continues, " A person just, like literally did a hit and run." I say to myself so what your saying here is that the ran over my dog and left the stranded on the street, hurt. Who does that? She still continues, " That is not good look how he is limping! I took a picture of the license plate, you have to go tell the police, and get him to the vet! Because not that is wrong a dog is just like a human!" My mother answers, "Oh yes I will thank you very much for taling me." As soon as the lady leaves my mother looks at me and says, "Go change hurry!" (yes i was still in my pajamas) We go to the vet and they said that they were going to send us pills for him, and they said that his arm was swollen. We went home and my dad called on of his friends, he is a vet, to vcheck him becuase the other doctors seemed more interested in something else and like didnt really pay attension to my dog. We went and he said that they should have given him a shot to calm him down, he gave it to him and we were on our way. But as we walk outside we see my dog banging his head on the floor, ehat is worng with this dog! the vet lifts him up and calms him down, suddenly my dog like literally can't move, he's just there sticking his tongue out. My sister and I were just started  laughing.
Now to tell you the background. My mother was outside watering her garden, with my dog. She left him outside until my dog was barking so he can come in. he entered but he came running in, but looked perfectly fine. the next day passed and you can see a bruse on his face and a scrape on his arm. But just to say it was his fault because we put pieces of wood on the backyard door so he won't go, but my dog here jumps them. I also forgot to mention we decided to not tell the police because my aunt said it was our fault for not taking care of my dog, but he's only 5 months! Anyway i hope you have a great day unlike that Wednesday.

Where?

As I said in one of my blogs I got a new dog but this week what happened to him will blow your mind. So it was a regular Sunday, but when my mother and sister went to pick up something strange was going on. I heard no barking, walking paws, or nothing at all. The bad side is that I had to take care of my brother and let me say it is not as easy as you think. I wanted to go find if my dog was actually here or if my mother took him with her, but I guess that wasn't possible with the help of my brother. My mother came back then and I noticed that they didn't have my dog. my sister started to search for him and then from that point we found out that he was no longer in the house. I stayed looking for him in the backyard (yes with my brother) and my mom and sister in the front. I don't hear my mom and sister whistling or yelling his name anymore, what is going on? I go the door and I see that they are talking to a women in a black car, what are they doing? I go closer and I see my dog's leash and another dog's leash. What? My mom is grabbing something, what, I see black spots. What in the entire world is he doing in that car!
Turns out that just as my mom went out searching for him the women was passing by and asked if we were looking for a dog, my mom answered, and she parked. As my mother here was going more towards the car she sees my dog. We never knew how he escaped.

A Change?

In today's blog I will talk about my process in going from junk food to organic and natural foods. I know I grown up should be saying this but since my mother here is making this change she decided that the whole family should. I like vegetables and all but some I just can't and the worst of all is that my mother here again is putting them on every plate I eat. Not like in every single plate but then again she mostly puts it, the impressive thing is that I'm starting to think its not a big deal (I'm not saying this so that I sound so health this is the truth!). And it's not only the diet change its also the physical activities now, every single day we walk about an hour or so around my neighborhood. But wait there is still more, wen we return or before we walk we exercise watch videos on push-ups, sit-ups, dance combos, and warm-ups. My little brother is even liking the change in the food we would've thought he wouldn't but turns out he does (btw he's only one). This change may sound tough but we will get there! That's it for today's blog and if your in this process to then you can make it!

New Glasses!

In today's blog I will talk about the first time getting glasses (I got them this week). If you read my blog about a sick day (part 2), you would understand why. The doctor said that it was probably because I had something in my eye or because the sun was to strong for my eyes. She checked if I needed to have reading glasses, good thing I don't. I had nothing wrong with my eye, so turns out that my eyes are sensitive. But the good thing is that they aren't really that sensitive, like how people easily get a sunburn. after that was discovered the doctor said to just use sunglasses. I'm just thinking what about in school? My mother here was like reading my mind and asked how would she wear them in school. she said that she would consider giving me glasses but with transition and  only a prescription of 0.25. I don't know how to add a photo on this blog post so I will write a description on how my glasses look like. the frame is a sort of lavender color, and the size is just to my cheekbone. Template color is black, and my glasses have no nose pads. Thank you for reading my blog post and I hope you have a great day!

Allegiant

In today's blog I will talk about the movie Allegiant (in which will come out in theaters March 18). I started reading the book and promised myself that I would finish it before the movie came out, but it seemed impossible for me. So I failed that accomplishment, any ways I will tell you what it is about if you have no idea what I'm talking about. So, Allegaint is the next Divergent series, what is divergent? Divergent is about a girl named Tris in which lives in a place where all people are divided into different group of their personality you can say. Tris is a turns out to be a Divergent, which is a group in which the society think that can be a danger to them. In Allegiant (not to spoil anything, plus it's in the trailer) they are going to jump the wall. What exactly is the wall I'm referring to? The wall is the wall in which seperates them from the rest of the wall. No one has been outside, no one knows what is outside the wall. The find out that they are in some place that is named Chicago. I won't say anything else (dispite the fact that I read half of the book) to spoil any of the scenes. I recomend you go see this movie, in March 18 of course, and have a great day!

The Outsiders

This book has got me to the edge of my seat. My reading hasn't completed the mission but so far I will give you an update of how good the book is. The is the man character, Ponyboy, which is a member of the "greasers" gang. Then comes Sodapop, he is Ponyboy's brother also a member or the greasers. Sodapop is, you can say the most trustworthy of the gang. Darry comes along, the oldest brother of Ponyboy. Darry has to maintain the two of them since sadly their parents have died. Steve, Sodapop's best friend, also a member. Johnny comes along the youngest, after Ponyboy, of the gang. Also the gang's pet, he has been beaten by his father, and his mother just ignores him. Two-bit, he mostly steals and the second oldest of the gang (after Darry). Last but not least comes Dally (also called Dallas, Dally for short) he went to jail at the age of ten and also Ponyboy's least favorite of the gang. Up to where I have read Ponyboy and Johnny have ran away to a church in the Jay Mountains, because of an incident that can cost a lot.  Want to know the reason why? I recommend you read the book it gets really interesting!

A Sick Day

In today's blog I will write about a most recent day of sickness that happened to me. Let me just say that I didn't feel 100% good it was more like a -100%. On a Sunday night I started to feel headaches, and yes I had already ate and drank water, I just ignored it because I thought it would go away. I was wrong and it was still there. I told my mom and she said that it was maybe because I didn't have enough sleep and told me to take a nap. I did as ordered, but apparently I slept all the way through night. The next day the headache was bigger, the worst thing of all was that it was a Monday. I felt really lazy and didn't want to move a finger. I told my mom if I can stay she said yes but she still had to take my big sister to school. So she said yes and I had to stay with my little brother, good thing he was still sleeping. I made him company and fell asleep to, when I woke up my mother had already came. she saw that I woke up and decided to give me a pill for headaches. No, no, no. I honestly hate pills, I can pass them but every single time for some reason they give the terror of me choking. I finally passed it and took another nap (I know I sleep a lot, for my health). I woke up and it went away, FINALLY. I took a shower, but someone came along with me, yes the headache returned. I finished and I told my mom that it had returned and it was a miracle that she didn't give me medicine. she decided to try and make an appointment to the doctor, but good thing she couldn't find the phone number. We picked up my sister and went home. My dad came and we went to a restaurant, the food was great. From then on I got a fever, the weird part was that I felt nothing bad. My mom wanted to go to the doctor, pediatric urgent care. Good thing that it was closed, I saved me from that one. My mom said that we are coming to the doctor the next day, then the next day I was perfect.

A Sick Day Part 2

In today's blog I will talk about something that happened to me in the same week as part one. I went to school everything was going just fine. While I was going to my next class, I was walking in the sun. Suddenly my eyes start to cry, I wasn't sad or depressed of any kind. Why were the crying? I wipe the tears away and ignore it.  When it came to nutrition I was again in the sun, I guess you know what happened, yes they were crying. I ignored it, yes casual me, and went to my friends. The bell rang and I was in class my nose started to get a little stuffy. Here we go again, I text my mom that the start to cry and she said that my eyes were just tired. But every time I go outside I feel like I I were to faint (something wrong with me). She decided to pick me up before lunch, for some reason I felt so much better. But when we returned to pick up my sister, on the way my eyes then again cried. Good thing I had glasses with me, I thought it was because of the sun. I put them on but they still continued but even more than before. My mom made an appointment but it was three days later. The good thing about that day was that we finally got my dog's dog license. This wasn't a good day my eye lids felt heavy and kept crying. I hope you have a great day!

A Rainy Day Surprise

In today's blog I will be talking about one of my expirences that could've happened to you to, or did happen. I just want to note that this was real.
It was a regular day, I woke up and it was raining, not hard but soft. My mother and I were making breakfast. As my sister, brother and dad were watching a movie (I know they didn't bother to help us make breakfast). As we turn on the stove and crack the egges, we hear something buzzing. All of a sudden all the lights turn off and so does the tv. My dad immediately says what happened. My mom and I turn the switch off and back on but it doesn't work. She goes outside, while I'm playing with the switches trying to make it turn on (which probably not the best idea but I was barely 8). When I was playing with the switches the light turn back on but for one second and turns back off. My mom thought that it had turned back on and asks if it did because she saw a little shock on the power lines. I went to go see but it didn't happened, until the next 10 seconds. And I see the electrical strike, my mom got scared and held me back. We called the LA DWP and while we were calling and ambulance beat us to it and came. Although they did exactly nothing ( I know they can't do anything) we waited for 2 hours till the electricity came back. This has been the second time it happened to me. The first was at night, and I was home alone with my sister doing homework. And trust me I was so sacred, there was total darkness. Well then that is it for today's blog and if this happened to you, I know how you feel.

Story Day!

Just to note that this is a story not an actual experience!
I wake up, I don't know what it is but I have this weird sensation. Everything is fine, but my sister is acting a bit strange, what could it be? Maybe she has a test today and didn't study yesterday. "Where's Jacob  (my brother)?" I ask my mom.
"Who's Jacob?" both my sister and mom say.
I tell my mom, "Your son, my brother, you know little Jacob."
"Are you okay Ingrith?" My sister says.
I ignore them, I think they are playing with me. Besides, my mom cooked pancakes for us, she never does that, she doesn't even wake us up. I go up stairs and I get to feel a little dizzy. I shake it out and go to my room suddenly everything turn white. What is this? I walk forward , but I still can't see anything ahead. My head starts to hurt so bad! I go on my knees, ohhhh the pain! I open my eyes and I'm back in my bed, laid down. Ok something strange is going on. I feel so cold, why? I have three blankets on.
I yell out, "Mom!"
No one answers, I yell once again. And I notice that no sound comes out of my mouth. This has to be a dream, I say to my self. I reach over to my left arm, to wake up. But I can't, it feels like something is holding me down. Grabbing me from my arms with such tension. I kept yelling and yelling, but no one heard me, zero. I try to lift my legs, but it seems impossible too.
I yell to the top of my lungs, "Stop! Help me, someone!"
I close my eyes trying to clam my self and I think. Think of a solution, you got this. I get up so rapidly, I free myself. I look down and find it endless. Suddenly I wake up.

Trip To Big Bear

In today's blog I am going to talk about my trip to Big Bear during winter break. For the first time I had stayed in a cabin for three days. Sadly I didn't go when it snowed, it did snow a little but not as much as the other days. My family and I all went, in total it was twelve people that were going. On the first day we came, we came quit a bit early. We were supposed to check in at 3:00 but we came more early than we thought we were coming. We just decided to find a good place to go sledding there were many places to! But the bad side was the parking, we couldn't find anywhere to park the car and since it had been snowing we couldn't leave our cars in the street. There were parks in which we could've sled, but we had to pay and we just didn't want to. We spent the rest of the day trying to find where to, until we found it. We have been here before but not to staying the cabin. We wanted to sled somewhere new discover the place, we ended up right where we didn't mean to end up going. Untill 3:00 we went into the cabin and let me just say that it really darkens soon over there. We come inside so wet from falling to the snow, stepping on the snow. The worst thing of all is that there was only one bathroom, so we had to take showers one by one. This technically repeated day from day, till we left. It felt so long to return home they way down was full of traffic, I thought we were never going to get out we started from 1:30 to 6:00. Yes that is how long we took to get back home, I was starting to get worried because the next day we had to go to school. Well that was my experience to Big Bear!
